Position Title: General Manager

Reports To: CEO

Primary Responsibilities:

HostOften's success has not been a fluke. Always working to ensure a 5 star guest experience, HostOften's local and virtual team pride themselves on being in the business of experiences. Managing this growing team alongside the CEO, the GM will have the right combination of applicable management experience, ideas and education.

As GM, you'll:

  •  Establish need and allocate resources for the completion projects and their timely delivery;

  • Build a framework to help turn growth potential and collaborative ideas into successes.

  • Complete occasional audits, recommend improvement to mid-level management;

  • Play a key role in conception and coordination of projects and campaigns ;

  • Maintain staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; maintaining a safe, secure, and legal work environment; developing personal growth opportunities.

  • Accomplish staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.

  • Maintain quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards; analyzing and resolving quality and customer service problems; identifying trends; recommending system improvements.

  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by conducting market research; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.

  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
